Virtual Dementia Tour

For anyone caring for or supporting a family member, friend, or loved one living with dementia will gain a deeper understanding of what it may feel like to live with dementia. The Virtual Dementia Tour® (VDT) is the original, patented, evidence-based training experience designed to build awareness, understanding, and empathy for individuals living with dementia. Participants wear specialized equipment that simulates some of the physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges often experienced by people with dementia, providing valuable insight into their daily lives. This immersive experience can help: Enhance caregiving skills through hands-on learning Improve communication and understanding between caregivers and loved ones Increase empathy and confidence when supporting someone living with dementia. Join s for the opportunity to better understand the journey of dementia and disover ways to provide more compassionate, person-centered care. This event is provided in partnership with Second Wing Dreams and facilitated by LaVon Lenaway of Dragonfly Senior Navigation Services. Refreshments will be served.
