Caregiving can be exhausting. The following programs are available for caregivers.

Caregiver Education Series

Long Distance Caregiving
Tuesday, December 19: 11am – 1pm

In today’s world, families live all over the globe. Worrying about an aging parent or loved one becomes even more worrisome when you can’t check in on them to see if they are taking care of themselves and more. This month at the Oswego Senior Center we will focus on being a long-distance caregiver – mechanisms you can set in place for peace of mind, technology to connect easily and help manage medications/reminders, keeping the lines of communication open with local family and keeping the challenging dynamics at bay- and more!

Light lunch will be served.

RSVP required by December 18: 630-554-5602. All ages of adults welcome.

Caregiver Support Group

Friday, December 15

Many times we find ourselves in caregiver roles. Finding support among peers is a great opportunity to find resources and camaraderie in what can be a difficult life experience. The group will be facilitated by Keith Bielema of Kendall County Health Department.
